| Justin and Bear are back from Honolulu Hawaii and we have some results!
Justin placed 21st in the world from a field of 37 competitors. Nice job Justin! Bear placed 16th overall from a field of 19 (the largest group of women competitors yet at ITCC). Bear had two personal bests and had a great experience. Be sure to extend congratulations to them at our Annual Conference Luncheon Banquet on Monday, October 29th. |

| 2007 TREE CLIMBING COMPETITION RESULTS On June 9th at Valley Cemetery & Arboretum 20 New England tree climbers participated in the Annual New England Tree Climbing Competition. It will known as the year of the rain! Once it started, it wouldn't stop. However with a spirited and dedicated group of judges, volunteers, and climbers the day went on! With stories to follow soon, the Competition Winners were: Men's Division - Justin Donahue of Brighton, MA Women's Division - Bear Scovil of Manchester, VT The champions will be sponsored by the New England Chapter to represent the NEC-ISA at the International Tree Climbing Championship in Honolulu, Hawaii in July 28-29, 2007. MENS & WOMENS EVENT WINNERS The NEC-ISA Tree Climbing Competition is a gathering of the top tree workers throughout New England who try their tree climbing skills and abilities in a series of competitive events against other climbers.
