Vermont Urban & Community Forestry Program (VT UCF) and Advisory Council will host an Arborist Day of Service for tree care professionals. This event is being coordinated in partnership with Knight Point State Park and the Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation.  

The event is on Friday, October 9th, 2026 from 8:00am - 2:00pm at Knight Point State Park in North Hero, VT.
The Arborist Day of Service will be a volunteer opportunity for tree care professionals to prune trees at a state park, connect and earn CEUs. Event Goals

• Prune 4-10 trees for structure, safety and roof clearance for the park office and a pavillion.
• Connect tree care professionals across the state through a day of service and collaboration.
• Draw attention to the importance of proper tree care and arboriculture in Vermont. 

The event is free, but registration is required to participate.
