In 2025, ISA transitioned to a new, enhanced Find an Arborist platform designed to help the public, employers, and industry professionals easily find and verify ISA credential holders in real time. The new platform is connected to credential holders’ digital badges and provides users with greater control over how their expertise, experience, and online presence are showcased, both to the public and within the tree care industry.

The legacy system was last updated on 7 July 2025 and remained available during the transition period to the new platform.

As the upcoming sunset of the legacy system nears, ISA strongly encourages credential holders to log into the platform through their digital badge accounts and complete or update their profiles as soon as possible. Already this year, thousands of searches have been conducted using the new Find an Arborist directory, making profile completion one of the simplest and most effective ways to increase professional visibility to potential clients, employers, and the public.

Set Up Your New Profile

To protect your privacy and ensure profile information is up-to-date and user-controlled, information from the legacy system will not be transferred to the new platform. We highly recommend that all ISA credential holders complete their profiles, with special emphasis on adding location information so the public can easily find you and your company when searching the directory by location or service area. Profiles missing this information will not appear in location-based public searches.

Setting up or updating your profile only takes a few minutes and can be completed from your phone, tablet, or computer.
