As a member of our crew you will:

• Contribute year-round to all aspects of arboriculture including tree planting, pruning, fertilizing and other plant health care treatments, whole tree removals, and stump grinding. 
• Work and learn daily with experienced and professional arborist crew mates with the guidance and support of our operations team and consulting arborists.
• Safely operate and maintain equipment including chainsaws and other power tools, chippers, articulated loaders, aerial lifts, and remote-controlled stump grinder. 
• Receive paid on-the-job practical and safety training, as well as opportunities for professional advancement including: ISA Certified Arborist, climbing arborist, plant health care technician, commercial vehicle driver, and/ or crew leader. 
• Receive paid holidays, earn paid time off,  and qualify for dental and vision insurance, and a retirement savings plan with an employer match. 
• Earn a competitive wage ranging from $26/hr for entry-level ground trainees to $31+/hr for experienced arborists with demonstrable skill and verifiable qualifications.
• Be required to complete a post-offer physical & drug screen, and pass a background and motor vehicle check.

Preferred certifications and skills:  ISA Certified Arborist®, First Aid/ CPR, Vermont Pesticide Applicator’s License, Vermont Commercial Driver’s License.  Experience operating heavy trucks and equipment, towing trailers, and/or small engine maintenance and repair.
