Harrison McPhee Inc. seeks a highly qualified, good vibe production tree preservation arborist to join our team. Lots of perks and great bennies, but the highlight will be the people you work with and the arboriculture you get to do.








Do you desire to do the arboriculture most companies only read about in books?  Interested in working with the best people in the industry at the highest level on some of the most amazing properties? Open to living in the Boston area? 

Tree Preservation Experts have experience, interest, and ability in the following areas

  • Advanced climbing and rigging techniques
  • Advanced pruning techniques
  • Cable, bracing, and through rod installation
  • Fine hand pruning 
  • Ornamental tree artistry 
  • Soil science 
  • Compost tea brewing 
  • Soil remediation
  • Disease and Insect diagnosis and treatment protocols 
  • Advanced IPM techniques and applications 
  • Heavy equipment operation including mini-skids steers, tracked lift, bucket truck, mini-excavators, air spade, chippers, Plant Health Care systems etc. 
  • Installation of specimen trees and shrubs 
  • Able to lift 50 lbs, work outside in all weather conditions, have a valid driver's license, work in a drug free workplace 



  • Industry experience 5 plus years
  • A college degree in a related field including biology, arboriculture, urban forestry, environmental studies, or related equivalent professional development and experience. 
  • Life long learner 
  • Industry qualifications or the desire to earn them including 
    • Massachusetts Certified Arborist (MCA)
    • International Certified Arborist (ISA)
    • Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP)
    • Massachusetts Certified Landscape Professional (MCLP)
    • Commercial Driver License (CDL class B)
    • Massachusetts Hoisting License 1C 2A
    • Massachusetts Pesticide Applicator license
    • Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)
